A Promise Made in Paradise was conceived on Maui after 14 years in residence for Marc Grodan and Judy, his wife. It was a name. We needed a name for our wedding company. And 'a promise' seemed to do the trick, that being what it is. And of course we are in paradise over here. And so 'A Promise Made in Paradise' was born in October 1993. Marc Grodan, photographer, and officiant. His wife Judy Grodan, videographer and catering. His daughters, cake servers and table setters and flower circle makers. It was a family affair. And the business grew as the family did. The children are grown and away at college and 'A Promise' still lives on, Marc’s legacy for his family.
